We recommend guests check with the Cuban Embassy to verify that all prescription drugs are legal to bring into Cuba. The U.S. Embassy website recommends carrying a copy of your prescription(s), along with a physician's letter describing the reason for the prescribed drug(s). The CDC recommends that guests should also carry a card that identifies, in the local language, their blood type, chronic conditions or serious allergies, and the generic names of any medications being taken.
U.S. citizens can find more information by visiting: The U.S. Embassy in Cuba website.
