Our new Cruise Assurance program is a temporary policy that allows guests who have a cruise booked through MSC Cruises USA (and paid in full) to cancel their cruise up to 48 hours before the cruise departure and reschedule for a future sailing. Effective March 10, 2020, Cruise Assurance is valid on sailings departing on or before October 31, 2020.
If you choose to cancel your current cruise, you will receive a Future Cruise Credit to reschedule for a future cruise. Call today to reschedule.
Cruise Assurance Program FAQ's
What Sailing Dates are Included in the Cruise Assurance Program?
- Effective March 10, 2020, the Cruise Assurance program is applicable for all sailings departing on or before September 30, 2020. NOTE: Any bookings made during this time-frame, but the cruise departure date is after September 30, 2020, will not be included in the Cruise Assurance program and standard terms and conditions apply.
Do Standard Terms and Conditions Apply for Final Payment?
- Yes, final payment is due no later than 90 days prior to your cruise departure on cruises less than 15 nights. For cruises 15 nights or greater, final payment is due no later than 110 days prior to your cruise departure.
Can Guest in a Booking Choose to Cancel, While Other Guests Do Not Cancel and Decide to Cruise?
- No, MSC Cruise Assurance must apply to ALL guests within the booking. The associated Future Cruise Credit will list ALL guest names in the booking. The amount of the Future Cruise Credit will be equal to the full cruise fare of the original booking. Government taxes and fees will be automatically refunded. The FCC is non-transferable and non-refundable and has no cash value.
What if I Do Not Choose Cruise Assurance?
- Standard cancellation penalties will apply if you do not wish to participate in the Cruise Assurance program.
